Biographies

Brake For Frogger is a small (but expanding) group of video-game aficionados who dedicate themselves to producing humourous, entertaining, sometimes scathing — but always honest — opinions, reviews and monlogues of current affairs in the realm of video-games, computing and entertainment.

This is our current line-up:

Name: Cameron Phillips
Location: Gretna, Scotland

Cameron

“I have wandered the Mushroom Kingdom at will, Hyrule has been brought back into the light, I have managed Glasgow Rangers to a 1-0 defeat against Barcelona in the European Cup final, I harvested all the Little Sisters, I always raced as Captain Falcon, I can still do Liu Kang’s Dragon Fatality to this day, I found Tracer Tong but then ignored him, I’m lost if I don’t go either Ryu or Sagat, I think blue shells are the worst idea ever and I still owe that metroid who saved me that time.

I don’t have time to get good at games these days though so I can now only dazzle with mediocrity. Go easy on me, I bruise very easily.”

Cameron Phillips can be found on Xbox Live as ‘Criple H‘ and on Twitter as ‘CripleH‘.

Name: Tom Oates
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria, UK.

“I’m Tom. I’m 25 years old, originally from south Wales but now based in the cold, dark north of England.

I’m fairly new to this whole game-journalism thing, so at times you may well have to bear with me more than you would with the other fellas. For the main part, I spend a lot of my evenings gaming (it’s preferential to other forms of entertainment for me, really). Occasionally, I risk reputation for the sake of a good story (Hah!)

As for consoles, I own two Xbox 360s (my elite and BFF’s review console, codenamed CANTONA), a Nintendo DS Lite, a Nintendo Wii,  and a PSP. I own a couple of PCs too, but I’ve never really gotten into PC gaming, other than Flash games and the utterly awesome World Of Goo. I’m likely to be focusing a lot on the Xbox 360 and the PSP in my reviews, but I’ll try and span as many different genres as I possibly can. Also, now that I’m back on Xbox Live, I’ll slip back into my role as BrakeForFroggers’ resident XBLA game reviewer!”

Tom Oates can be found on Xbox Live and Twitter as ‘RunawayBomber‘.
